Learn to speak Esperanto out loud
Most Esperanto courses stop at recognising words. In 4ToSpeak every Esperanto sentence ends with you saying it, so the skill you build is the one a real conversation asks for.

How it works
Four steps for every Esperanto sentence
One loop you repeat on every sentence, ending with you speaking Esperanto out loud.
Step 1
Order
See a Esperanto sentence and rebuild it in English from a bank of words.
Step 2
Translate
See the English and build the sentence in Esperanto, word by word.
Step 3
Listen
Hear the sentence spoken in Esperanto, then type what you understood.
Step 4
Speak
Say it out loud in Esperanto and see which words landed and which to try again.
Speaking Esperanto
Why speak Esperanto from day one
The sounds, rhythm and word order of Esperanto stick when you produce them, not when you recognise them. Each sentence you say out loud gets you closer to the way a real Esperanto speaker talks, and the speaking step shows you which words you landed.

Esperanto questions, answered
Can I learn Esperanto for free with 4ToSpeak?
Yes. The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. You get 25 daily energy, about 3 to 4 full lessons a day, and the whole module store is open to you (some modules cost coins you earn by practising).
How does 4ToSpeak teach Esperanto speaking?
Every Esperanto sentence goes through four steps: you order it, translate it, listen and type it, then say it out loud. The last step is the point. You hear how close you were, word by word, instead of tapping an answer.
Do I need a microphone to practise Esperanto?
Yes, for the speaking step. Your browser asks permission the first time, and it works on a phone, a tablet or a computer. The other three steps work without one.
Do I need to know any Esperanto already?
No. Lessons start from short everyday Esperanto sentences and build up, so you can begin from nothing.
What script does Esperanto use?
Esperanto is written in the Latin alphabet, so you can start reading it straight away. The speaking steps cover the sounds that differ from English.
