Speaking Korean
Why speak Korean from day one
Korean sounds change when words connect, so the way a sentence is written is not always the way it is said. Listen first, then say the sentence aloud and compare. Verbs come last and particles mark the roles.
Korean is written in the Hangul script. You hear and say each sentence while you learn to read it, so the writing system is never a wall in front of speaking.

Korean questions, answered
Can I learn Korean for free with 4ToSpeak?
Yes. The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. You get 25 daily energy, about 3 to 4 full lessons a day, and the whole module store is open to you (some modules cost coins you earn by practising).
How does 4ToSpeak teach Korean speaking?
Every Korean sentence goes through four steps: you order it, translate it, listen and type it, then say it out loud. The last step is the point. You hear how close you were, word by word, instead of tapping an answer.
Do I need a microphone to practise Korean?
Yes, for the speaking step. Your browser asks permission the first time, and it works on a phone, a tablet or a computer. The other three steps work without one.
Do I need to know any Korean already?
No. Lessons start from short everyday Korean sentences and build up, so you can begin from nothing.
Is Korean hard to learn for English speakers?
Longer than European languages, mostly because of grammar and vocabulary. Hangul is quick to learn, and speaking is worth practising from the start.
