Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are a contract between you and 4ToSpeak for use of 4tospeak.com and the 4ToSpeak app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

4ToSpeak is a language-learning product. You practice sentences through order, translate, listen, and speak. We also offer official modules, community modules, custom module creation, AI scene images, speech recognition, and text-to-speech audio.

We may change, pause, or discontinue features. Practice is not a guarantee that you will become fluent.

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your login and for activity on your account. Keep your password private.

You can delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes your login and learning data we store for that account, except records we must keep for legal, security, or payment reasons.

Free includes 25 daily energy (about 3–4 lessons a day), founder-recommended modules (some free, some costing coins), and core practice. It does not include custom modules, AI scene images, or discount passes.

Lifetime is a one-time purchase with 300 daily energy, all modules in the store, monthly custom-module and AI-image allowances, and a limited number of friends-and-family discount passes, as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Pro is a subscription (monthly or annual) with 500 daily energy, all modules in the store, priority audio, higher custom-module and AI-image allowances, and unlimited discount passes, as shown on the pricing page.

Energy, coins, XP, discount passes, and similar items are virtual and have no cash value. They are not transferable except as the product allows (for example, sharing a discount pass). Unused allowances generally do not roll over unless we say otherwise in the product.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices may change; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Promotional codes (including LAUNCH50 or friends-and-family passes) apply only as described when you redeem them.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancel through your account or Stripe customer portal before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Lifetime is one payment and does not auto-renew.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or if we choose to issue a refund. If a charge fails, we may limit paid features until it is resolved.

You may publish lesson packs to the store if your plan allows. Creators earn a share of coin unlocks as described in the product (currently 80%). Coin payouts are in-app value, not a wage or guaranteed income.

You must own or have rights to content you publish. No illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or infringing material. We may remove modules or withhold payouts if we believe these rules were broken.

You grant 4ToSpeak a license to host, display, and distribute your modules in the Service so learners can use them.

Do not abuse the Service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to break security, no reselling accounts, and no using AI or energy features to attack others or generate prohibited content. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Speaking practice uses your microphone. Audio may be processed by us and by providers we use for speech recognition and text-to-speech. Custom modules and scene images may be generated by third-party AI. Output can be wrong; you are responsible for how you use it.

4ToSpeak, founder-created modules, branding, and the app itself are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them only through the Service, for your own learning, as these terms allow.

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet a particular learning outcome. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, 4ToSpeak is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or lost data, coins, or progress. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us.

We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and may notify you in the app or by email for material changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
