Speaking Arabic
Why speak Arabic from day one
Arabic has sounds English does not use, produced at the back of the throat. Listening and then saying words out loud trains your mouth for them, and reading alone cannot.
Arabic is written in the Arabic script. You hear and say each sentence while you learn to read it, so the writing system is never a wall in front of speaking.

Arabic questions, answered
Can I learn Arabic for free with 4ToSpeak?
Yes. The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. You get 25 daily energy, about 3 to 4 full lessons a day, and the whole module store is open to you (some modules cost coins you earn by practising).
How does 4ToSpeak teach Arabic speaking?
Every Arabic sentence goes through four steps: you order it, translate it, listen and type it, then say it out loud. The last step is the point. You hear how close you were, word by word, instead of tapping an answer.
Do I need a microphone to practise Arabic?
Yes, for the speaking step. Your browser asks permission the first time, and it works on a phone, a tablet or a computer. The other three steps work without one.
Do I need to know any Arabic already?
No. Lessons start from short everyday Arabic sentences and build up, so you can begin from nothing.
Is Arabic hard to learn for English speakers?
It takes longer than European languages. The script runs right to left and the sounds are new. Sentence-by-sentence practice with audio makes both easier.
